Lilith Ivy

This post is to announce a creation I couldn’t possibly be prouder of, my six-day-old daughter, Lilith Ivy. She came three weeks earlier than expected on Monday, January 27, and of course has been all I’ve been thinking about since then. Because she is my first kid, of course things are kind of chaotic in my home at the moment, and also because the birth was a C-section (recovery has been tough), I probably won’t be posting as regularly as I have been for a while. But I do look forward to painting portraits of my little girl and of course now I’m inspired to create other baby-related illustrations like stationery for baby showers and congratulatory cards for new parents along with my usual pics of girls in cute outfits.
