Those of you who are familiar with this blog know that I’m a big fan of Modcloth, so I couldn’t help but be excited to learn this week that Modcloth launched not one but two vintage-inspired lines of clothing. What’s even cooler is that is that both of these lines have most of their pieces available in plus sizes. (Finding plus size items is a difficult and sometimes near impossible task for vintage lovers, so I found myself getting really excited by this. I’m not even sure why; I’m not plus-size myself. But I like that the company is branching out.) Now all they need to do is launch a maternity line, hint hint, nudge nudge.
Anyway, I found out about the news through a style blog I just discovered called Margie Plus, published by Margie Ashcroft. Naturally, she is plus-size and in every post, models incredibly cute outfits, usually little dresses with fierce kicks. For a recent post, she modeled frocks from one of the new Modcloth lines, one of which inspired this illustration. To see even more looks, head over to Margie’s blog or Modcloth.
this is so cute!
