Vintage Mint Green Skirt

Today I finally had time to illustrate the vintage goodies I bought the other day at Another Man’s Treasure, specifically a mint green skirt and hot pink strappy shoes. And just in time for Paint Party Friday too. (For others reading this who like to illustrate, Paint Party Friday is a fun community in which participants are invited to submit illustrations to get the feedback of other participants while you do the same. It’s fun and artists of all skill levels are welcome.)

This illustration was created in pencil, watercolor and Photoshop, and was based on a photo of me in a vintage outfit, green skirt, reconfigured from a 1950s design, 1980s era shoes and a striped top that my mother used to wear in the 1970s.
