I promised myself I would do an illustration involving trees blossoming while they’re actually still doing just that, and thankfully, the Wanderlust girls recently posted some gorgeous and flowerific photos–just the inspiration I needed!
I have illustrated the bloggers behind Wanderlust–Emily and Abigail–on My Style Canvas before. I thought the black and white I used lent a certain drama to the piece but at the same time, I felt I should also do one in color to really capture their looks and their style.
If you haven’t seen the Wanderlust fashion blog yet, do check it out. Emily and Abigail post pretty frequently and the photos–by their third partner on the site, Scott–are always magazine-spread worthy and not your typical 10-nearly identical outfit shots. They vary in style with each post and the Manhattan streetscape is usually featured prominently and glamorously too.
Les dessins sont supers!!!!
