Featured Muse: Mila Kunis

 
 
 Hello lovelies.
First I just wanted to apologize for the lack of posts lately. It’s not because I haven’t been illustrating.  It’s because I was working on designing a fashionable girl who’d be a mascot of sorts for a company, and I must have done about 8 or 9 drawings before I came up with one I actually felt comfortable submitting to the client.

Once she saw it and liked it I worked on it some more, giving her options on how it could look in watercolor or more cartoony looking, She still hasn’t officially approved it yet though so I can’t post any of the work here.
And naturally I haven’t had much time to illustrate for myself lately.

But last night, I MADE the time, and this is the result. This illustration is based on what I personally think is the most beautiful photograph of Mila Kunis ever taken. I don’t know if it’s online but I found it in an issue of W. One of the things I liked was that there’s not just one focal point in it, there’s three: Mila’s smoky eye, the rose and what has to me the most exquisite cocktail ring ever. *Drool.* Anyway I’ll have to accessorize vicariously through this painting.
